This weeks wedding features my close friends Andrew and Gina (Courtney) DePhillips. I have been waiting to do a BLOG on them and I am so excited to have their pictures to share with everyone! My husband and I have known Andy and Gina for years and we were so excited to be a part of their special day.
They are such a fun loving couple, we knew their wedding was going to be a blast!!
I was actually Gina’s Matron of Honor, so not only did I get to do the jewelry, but I got to be a part of all the wedding fun as well. Gina and I worked on her jewelry for months to come up with just the right “BLING” for her and almost all of the women in the wedding.
She knew she wanted longer earrings with crystals and pearls, and a matching bracelet. I LOVE her earrings and I think they went perfectly with her dress and hair!
We decided to do earrings for the bridesmaids, and they all got a different pair!
I also got to make jewelry for Gina’s Mom, her junior bridesmaids and
her cute little flower girl Hailey!
This was the first time I had every made this many pieces of jewelry for
a single wedding, and I am so happy it was for my friends big day!!
I LOVE YOU GUYS!!
Gina’s wedding dress is from Twirl boutique, and so are the Bridesmaids and Junior Bridesmaids dresses.
The beautiful pictures were taken by Darby Elizabeth.
This weeks wedding is that of Sheryl Sick .
Sheryl and her husband Dane were married on April 21st, 2008 at the Chic Hotel Valley Ho in Scottsdale. The colors she chose were fantastic – green with pink, orange and brown. They compliment each other so well!
When I first met with Sheryl, we looked at a bunch of styles but she wasn’t quite finding exactly what she wanted. So we took a style of earrings and changed them up a bit to make them just what she had envisioned!
These are what we came up with.
I LOVE these earrings and still make them today!
Thanks to Sheryl for having an idea and helping me come up with a new earring design.
I wish you all the best in married life!
These beautiful photos were taken by Jennifer Bowen.
The cute green dresses are from Twirl Boutique.
Any Bride getting married these days has to have heard of Twirl. If you are one of the few who has not, you are missing out on the BEST place in Arizona to find a dress for your Bridesmaids!! Gone are the days of puffy sleeves, hideous cuts, and dressing your best friends in something that will give them nightmares for years to come.
Today Twirl offers you and your bridesmaids hundreds of choices. Whether you are going for classy, fun, cute, or trendy, they have them all! From Melissa Sweet and Jim Hjelm to Jenny Yoo and Badgley Mischka – you are sure to find dresses to compliment your BIG day, and your bridesmaids can actually feel good about themselves in them!
I hold a special place in my heart for TWIRL, as corny as that sounds, but they were the first store to carry my line of jewelry for Brides and Bridesmaids. I began selling my jewelry to Twirl in the fall of 2005, and it has taken off since then! I have gotten to make some amazing jewelry for some amazing Brides over the years. This has definitely turned into my passion, creating one-of-a-kind jewelry for Brides and Bridesmaids that they wouldn’t get any where else. I just LOVE it, no pun intended!
And not only does Twirl carry fabulous dresses for Bridesmaids, they also carry dresses for Brides, flower girls and your Mom! In addition to all the beautiful dresses, they even carry some really cute accessories. From Bride and Groom survival kits and flower girl backpacks to shoes and even rhinestoned bikini’s – Twirl is definitely more than just a place to buy dresses.
And if one TWIRL wasn’t enough, get ready for another!!! Twirl will be opening it’s second location in Chandler this August. So all you Brides and Bridesmaids get ready for even more fabulous fashions and jewelry to match!
I just wanted to say a big thanks to Jenni and Keri, the owners of Twirl. Not only do I LOVE doing business with you, but I LOVE that you are my friends too! And thanks to all the Twirl Girls, you are the best!
Twirl Scottsdale is located at the NE corner of Scottsdale and McDonald, in the Hilton Village. Check them out at www.TwirlBoutique.com or call them at 480.221.1222.

So I was looking back through my photo albums of all of the weddings I have made jewelry for and I thought I would post a few pictures!
This is a picture from one of the very first weddings I ever made jewelry for, my best friend Courtney Gubernick. This is her good friend Taylor wearing a pair of 3 stone drop earrings, made of Swarovski Crystals.
This was a girlfriend of mine from college, Ashley. I had never made a necklace this big, but it turned out amazing. 4 strands of pearls and Swarovski crystals. I also made her Mom’s jewelry and all the earrings for the bridesmaids. They were so wonderful to work with.
This is a picture of one of MY bridesmaids, Carla. She is wearing one of my most popular earrings, the cluster drop.
This is Keri Chantler, one of the co-owners of Twirl in Scottsdale and soon to be in Chandler. I don’t make a ton of bracelet’s but these have to be some of my favorite. Keri did 3 different bracelet strands, all in gold with White Shell and Mother of Pearl. She got married on a cliff over looking the ocean in Laguna Beach and she new she wanted something with a beachy feel to it, and I think we got it just right!
