This weeks wedding features my close friends Andrew and Gina (Courtney) DePhillips. I have been waiting to do a BLOG on them and I am so excited to have their pictures to share with everyone! My husband and I have known Andy and Gina for years and we were so excited to be a part of their special day.

They are such a fun loving couple, we knew their wedding was going to be a blast!!

I was actually Gina’s Matron of  Honor, so not only did I get to do the jewelry, but I got to be  a part of all the wedding fun as well. Gina and I worked on her jewelry for months to come up with just the right “BLING” for her and almost all of the women in the wedding.

She knew she wanted longer earrings with crystals and pearls, and a matching bracelet. I LOVE her earrings and I think they went perfectly with her dress and hair!

This weeks wedding is that of Sheryl Sick .

Sheryl and her husband Dane were married on April 21st, 2008 at the Chic Hotel Valley Ho in Scottsdale. The colors she chose were fantastic – green with pink, orange and brown. They compliment each other so well!

When I first met with Sheryl, we looked at a bunch of styles but she wasn’t quite finding exactly what she wanted. So we took a style of earrings and changed them up a bit to make them just what she had envisioned!

These are what we came up with.

I LOVE these earrings and still make them today!

So I met Ashlee my freshman year at ASU. Over the years we had lost touch with each other, but one day I ran into her and she told me the exciting news that she was getting married. She had heard that I was doing jewelry and asked if I would want to make some for her upcoming wedding. I was so excited to be trying something new and different!

Ahlee Manuel was one of the first brides that I ever made WEDDING JEWELRY for, and she wanted something BIG and BOLD. She knew she wanted a BIG necklace, something she couldn’t buy in a store. So we brainstormed and came up with this 4 strand necklace made of pearls and swarovski’s crystals. To date it is the biggest necklace I have ever made, but she LOVED it and that was all I cared about.

Ashlee also wanted earrings for her bridesmaids. This was a little bit of challange, for their shoes were a copper color and I usually only work with Gold and Silver. But I found just the right chaina nd wire and the Chandelier earrings came out great!

Her Mom Cathy also needed jewelry, so we came up with a classy necklace, earrings and bracelet to match her champagne colored dress!

I had such a great time working with Ahlee and her Mom, I have to credit them for getting me into making Wedding Jewelry! I don’t think my business would be what it is today if they had not inspired me and opened my eyes to what I could really do. So a BIG thanks to Ashlee and Cathy, aren’t they just GORGEOUS!!

So this is my first BLOG featuring weddings that I have had the pleasure of making jewelry for. I LOVE what I do and getting to make custom jewelry for brides and bridesmaids is the best. I LOVE the fact that I get to make something just for them, that they wouldn’t be able to get any where else.

My first featured bride is CHRISTY JOHNSON (COLE).

As you will soon see, a beautiful bride, and just as beautiful on the inside! She was a a joy to work with – kind, easygoing, just an all around pleasure.

Christy wanted to do traditional pearl necklaces for her bridesmaids. As most of you know, my designs are not very traditional, but I liked the challenge of stepping out of the “BOX”.

And I think the end result was great!

She had an idea for a bracelet, two strands of pearls with long strands that dangled at the clasp. So we collaborated and came up with this one of a kind bracelet!

Chrsity and Josh’s wedding is also featured in the current issue of

Phoenix Bride and Groom Magazine.

Working with Christy was a great experience. So kind and easy going, it makes me LOVE my job even more. Congrats Christy and I wish you all the best in Married life with Josh. Thanks for letting me be a part of your special day.
